Originally off-white, this thrifted cotton gauze peasant top needed a makeover. After binding the bottom with rubber bands and soaking in water, the shirt was dipped in indigo dye seven times for 2-3 minutes each time and then left to fully oxidize for 20 minutes between dips. The result is a rich marine blue (not a full navy).
