This project has a great effort-to-reward ratio. All I did was stick a $10 button-up into a bucket of diluted bleach for 30 seconds and rinse it with cold water once I liked the color. Done! Try this out, but make sure to wear gloves, mix the bleach with water, and not get any of it on yourself. I got some bleach splatters on my pants, which prompted me to go all out with them and bleach them as well - but that's the story of a different project.
